Efficiently Inefficient

I learned a hard lesson last week about the importance of sensible business investment and its impact on time, production and sanity – sounds like an essay title. The bottom line, don’t take short cuts or quick fixes over proper technical support with business hardware and software.

So, here’s the thing, my laptop has been playing up for some time and my blackberry rubbish, i’ve been avoiding doing anything about them, no time, lack of funds (?!) and fear quite frankly. They are devices i’ve had for a while which I like using and know how to use them well, the outcome, both have failed me in quick succession this week.

I have been forced to get my laptop over hauled and I have grabbed the bull by the horns and invested in up grading my other technical equipment.

On the plus side it means I have learnt a lesson in taking action and i’m now all techy and wizzy! AND perhaps most importantly I feel better equipped in my business. I have also learnt that all investment in my business time, money, energy is all good and I will in time reap the rewards.

“Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.” Stephen Covey
