It’s been a while since I’ve written on here – it’s been a busy time and I now feel truly in that driving seat!

My biggest learning over this time has been the power of PMA.  As a child I remember an advert – I can’t remember what it was advertising – a father tells his son “…to perform like Linford [Christie] you have to think like Linford, PMA, Positive. Mental.  Attitude…”

I wholeheartedly concur, having courage and belief can get one through even the toughest times to emerge smiling and stronger than ever.

A more recent example of unwavering PMA is the achievement of Eddie Izzard running 43 marathons in 51 days for Sports Relief.  Against all the odds he succeeded and on Friday on the BBC 1 show he looked strong and he was certainly smiling.

I have found that meditation and affirmation are truly effective ways to bring forth those positive powerful thoughts and feelings of self belief. I have also found that when my self-belief is at its strongest all is right in my world.

As a coach I encourage my clients to ‘come out of their heads’ as at times this is where self doubt and self sabotage can lie.  I invite clients to follow their heart, gut and intuition as these can pave the way to fulfilment.

So, for the next week I invite you take the time to step back, bring forth that positive energy and truly listen to your heart and to your gut and see what unfolds.
